I've seen this project floating around multiple social media platforms for quite some time now & today i found a little background on it. In an iGNANT article i found out that the artist's name is Nobuhiro Nakanishi who will be this weeks Artist Spotlight. The title of this project is 'Layer Drawings' which was created to capture the accumulation of time as a sculpture or solid piece. The project was formed in 2004 as a series of photos that have been printed on transparent film that is ordered in a way so the "viewers can experience the ephimerality of time and make their perception expand to the gap in between each moment.' This is amazing because each panel or film layer is a moment in time. The in-between is created by the mind whether it be a matter of seconds or a milli-second. However, when looking through the film straight on you can see the entire image captured.
